Is this my fuel pump going bad?

Is this my fuel pump going bad? It's been a while since I've run any injector cleaner through my car, so I put some Redline SI-1 in my tank when I filled up today. After about 15 minutes of driving, I noticed a whining noise coming from the rear of the car...a consistent whining noise. At first I thought it was someone operating a power-tool off in the distance or maybe another car, but no, it's me.
From where it's coming from (sounds like an electric motor, you can hear it from the rear), I think it's the fuel pump. The thing is it doesn't do it right away. The engine can be running for 5-10 minutes before it starts whining.
In fact, while it was whining, I pulled in front of my house, shut off the ignition and immediately restarted it. Car was idling for about 5 minutes, the fuel pump was RUNNING (I went in the back and listened for it) and no whine, but then after that it started creeping back up.
Did the injector cleaner do something to it or is this a sign the fuel pump is going up? Shoudl I replace it? (It's stock, 75,000 on the car)

Well regardless, I just ordered the Racetronix fuel system from Thunder...I've seen enough posts in the search where whine was indicative of a fuel pump failure and I can't afford to be stranded.
I'm surprised the stock assembly costs so much ($400!!). I'm better off just upgrading now. LOL
