Using stock feel line as a return...

For those who have used the stock feed line as a return, what did you do when it came to the stock fuel filter? Can the flow be reversed through it, or did you remove it? If you removed it, what did you do to splice in a new line?

mine runs backward through the filter PUT A NEW FILTER IN FIRST

i removed the fliter and got one on the feed from speed inc.

i used a flare fitting from the hardware store to plug the Tee line from the orginal return to the tank

What did you put in place of the stock filter though? There is a saginaw fitting and a quick disconnect fitting there...

Or, did you block off the old feed from the filter on the T-block , and use the stock returns line off the t-block thereby deleting the fuel filter all together...

i disconected the filter line and used the return line back to tank at the Tee, the other small line going up to the engine compartment is the evap line

scroll down to the 3rd pic from the bottom, you can see it there, the line that the plug goes in is the filter line i beleive, so i removed that.
