Anybody have a cool can?? Guys maybe an stupid idea in a fuel injected car.But any body tried a cool can in the Ls1 to lower the temp. of the gasoline?

Kidding...I checked temps at the fuel tank and at the rail and didn't see any reason to even bother with it. As long as you're not just idling with a catback system heating up the fuel in the tank, it stays pretty cool.
I think they might be useful with a big external pump that is cooled by the fuel passing through it like an Aeromotive or BG. Internal tank pumps like the Walbro shouldnt put much heat into the outgoing fuel. An alternative is a product I saw in summit, a copper "S" with aluminum fins surrounding the tubing. Very low profile but needs airflow so it would probably need to be mounted up front somewhere. Pretty affordable and has AN fittings already installed.
