Another dumb ass injector question

Another dumb *** injector question I had a cam and heads installed on my car with a tune. It's doing 440 at the wheels. Only problem is, the car is running kind of rough, surging and bucking. At idle it stinks ever so pig rich. I do a search on the fourum and I see 30# SVO's are suppose to have a red top, mine are yellow. I can see "36" stamped on the body.
Are these SVO 36# injectors? If so, aren't they to big for my engine's HP? It might explain why the engine is running so crappy at slow speeds. This wouldn't be such a big deal but I requested SVO 30#, not 36#.

OK, it looks like these injectors are 36# Accel. From what I understand, they pretty much suck. Reason I'm asking, I'm trying to find the cause of surging/bucking at low RPMs. Thanks.
If they are yellow, then they are probably Accels. But 36 should be about right for your hp level. Sounds like you need more tuning to make that go away. Search the PCM forum for details. Good luck!

I dunno. I just installed some 30lb Accels in my car. I don't think they are junk. Accel makes good ****, it's just that the flavor of the day is SVOs. And Accels are $100 cheaper. But both are what is called printle style injectors, which some tuners don't like. Our cars come stock with Bosch or Delphi, which are disk style inj and they react differently. Again, I say you need your tune tweaked. Bucking & surging is a common problem after a cam. No matter which inj you put in.
