Lost FP at idle
Lost FP at idle First let me start by telling my setup. I have a simple bolt on car w/ nitrous. I am running the stock in tank and stock fpr with an 255 inline. I have always had about 58lbs fp but I have noticed recentley my fp dropping under acceleration. However, this morning I started my car and the fp was at about 42lbs. It never raised and never changed, I didn't goes over about 2500rpms for fear of hurting the motor. Any ideas? I think the stock in tank went? Can I drive the car slow until I get a new in tank pump?
Driving it slow won't hurt anything as long as you don't lose all of the pressure...then you're stuck. Have you checked the fuel filter? Remove the inline and see if the pressure comes back up or goes to 0...that will tell which pump is bad if it is a pump.
