Fuel- N20 VS FI Why does it seem like forced induction requires more fuel than N20. Lets say 600 nitrous rwhp vs 600 Fi rwhp why would one require more fuel with the same output. I have heard that this is the case but want more info please.
True, the extra fuel is used to slow the burn down with pump gas.
If you cool the intake charge down by other means, and run higher octane fuel that will burn slower, then you no longer require so much extra fuel with FI, but fuel delivery capability has to be increased due to the injectors firing into pressurized ports.
