Default Can it take the pressure?

I bought a MSD external pump rated at 120 psi. It has a barb type fitting on the pressure side. Is there any hose and clamp anyone would trust to stay on there and not spew gas? I cut the hard line going up to fuel rail. I did a flare on the line and will connect there with other end of hose from the pump. I was going to use braided line with some non-stripping clamps, but now I am having second thoughts. I would like to keep this pump since I already bought it and have it mounted. But I don't want to burn up my truck either. Any suggestions?

Good question. The place I bought it didn't say anything about needing a regulator. I am using it with a 2001, 5.3. I thought there was some sort of regulation on the stock fuel rail.
