Wiring Bosch 420

Wiring Bosch 420 I'd like to wire this pump into the factory wiring. This way it can run under the factory relay, and that is less wiring for me. Does anyone see a problem with this? All I should have to do is run the switch 12 volt from the stock pump over to the Bosch 420 and ground the other side, correct? It seems easy enough, but it may seem to easy. FWIW, I plan to purchase the Racetronix harness to upgrade the factory wiring and it is still plug n play.
you would need to do one or the other, not both
use the factory grey power wire and send the other side to frame ground OR use the wire harness. i would use a relay with fresh alternator power.

Yea, I guess my description was a little poor. I plan on running the Racetronix harness, pluging it up, but cutting the grey power and running it over to the Bosch.

There is just one pump. The tank is empty except for the sending unit. Thus no need for power to the tank. Why would you want to run 2 pumps in series anyway? Espeacially is the one in the tank was stock?

Thats what i did..... i was told that the 420L was to much pump and would burn out the stock relay..... so i added a bigger one..... so the stocker clicks on the new relay wich in turn powers on the pump..... Ill be running 2 Bousch 420L with my new setup.......

The racetronix harness will be my new dedicated power and also has a upgraded relay that mounts outback by the stock junction plug. The harness and the 420 should work very well together and it's all plug n play.
