Need some fuel pump help

Need some fuel pump help I had a shop install a Walbro 340xp when my 427 went in. (shop gone now)
I think the pump is going bad now.
1. Have to be cranking to get pressure to the rails.
2. Turn key on the pressure goes from 0 to 15 then falls off to 0.
3. Under WOT a few seconds under load and its like the fuel pump just shuts off, car falls on its face and pops then dies. hit the key the car starts right back up and runs fine until WOT.
The questions, if it had the Walbro 340xp can I just swap in the Racetronix with hotwire kit in or do you think the basket was modified for the Walbro? Also will the Racetronix support my 427 with 38# injectors when I hit it with a 150shot?

Hey i have same problem but i have stock fuel pump. I also have problems cranking over on cold starts and when im at stop lights i usually have to hold the rpms to about a grand for it to stay alive. Under wot the car shakes and wants to go but just isnt getting any fuel. Im thinking of putting a 255l pump in there should that work if not what would be the best for my mods. Sorry for trying to steal your post Ozz but i have no idea what you can do as far as your fuel pump. I did call and ask to see what i could find out for you but still had no help.
