Default Fuel system help

I have looked all over, used the search and am more unsure about my fuel system. I have a 99 z.

I have a forged 360 with a Vortech T-Trim that will run at 13 Lbs boost-for sake of argument. I figure 575 Hp, 600 if I'm really lucky.

My fuel system consists of a 255lph intank pump with boosta pump and 50lb injectors. Everything else is stock. Would this be sufficient, borderline or not enough. I'd rather over fuel than not enough.

I was thinking of building a system, using an external pump, new rails etc. Would the stock tank not be up to the task, considering that it is not baffled? If I remove the stock type pump, would I lose the gas guage.

If I build a system, are there any FAQ's, diagrams and pictures anywhere?

Stock pcm John?

If so, I let's think about this, would you be shooting for 600-650rwhp?

I wonder if you would be better off with 60 lb Mototron injectors. As for as the fuel pump stuff goes, I'm not really sure.

What brand 50 lb injectors? 42lb Bosch (which is 50lb at 58psi) will go 620rwhp easily.

I'd just check the A/F on a dynojet for insurance, but your system is fine for 600-650rwhp.

The injectors are Delphi, I believe. I did get the 50's thinking they would be sufficient, after doing some research. I thought that 50's would be a little bit overkill. I could be wrong though. I want to set something up now that I won't have to replace later.

My current thinking is to do a bulkhead connection to the plastic tank and go from there. I would be somewhat worried about the lack of baffleing in the plastic tanks at that point.

Mechanically, I have no problem with doing this system. I could however, use some info as far as the design of a system for my application.

I'd rather make a good aftermarket fuel system rather than worry about the stock components not being up to the task.

Thanks for the input guys, I need all that I can get!

My fuel system: 600rwhp Single walbro,KB, 42lb Bosch stock lines, rails, removed stock regulator and installed a reg at the filter in the return line.......plenty of fuel dyno tested.......If you're staying under 650rwhp anything else is a waste.....over 650 get the wallet out.

Hmm, maybe I'll stick with what I have then. I don't think I will be anywhere near 650.........unfortunately.
