You have a plastic tank. The guy's at thunder can answer all your questions ,so call and order it.Save yourself some time and do the trap door mod. That is cutting a hole in the floor of your hatch so you don't have to drop your exhaust, rear ,and tank. It will save you a ton of time if your gonna do it yourself. Get the complete plug and play kit. You wont be sorry

This is the way to go,especially if you continue to mod the car,the pump can keep up. I might be in the minority but I dont believe in the trap door mod for a couple reasons. If its not a race car why butcher the interior where you cant go back, but more important and since I repair cars for a living, when I install a new fuel pump I want to make sure the tank has no contaminets in in and the only way to be sure is to drop the tank and clean it out,the fastest way to fubar a new pump is to let it suck up crap in the tank right away, hell my drop in Racetronics pump only took 2.5 hrs from start to finish doing it the right way.

I dropped the tank as well...it was not necessary for me to drop the rear end...I drained the tank, dropped the cat-back, upper and lower PHBs and it came out fairly easy. It was nice to be able to clean the sediment out of the tank before installing the new pump...
