Thank you for pointing out that I re-filed my question.

My point was I've seen a lot of "information" above on these Venom injectors but much of it seems to be completely wrong.

I'd hate to see people buying something and not being able to use it.

My points to help the community are:

1. Venom can NOT make any injector in hi or lo impedance. Up to 48lb/hr is hi. Above that is low. LSx cars can't use low impedance.

2. The Venom injectors advertised won't fit the LSx motors the way they are sold.

Is that helpful to the community?

Regards,

Jim

Did you have to switch o-rings?

Which GMPP intake do you have?

This is an LSx injector:

This is a Bosch-style EV1 injector that fits a lot of other Chevys, like my LT4:

DeltaT,

I understand what you are saying with the two different styles now that I see, I never really thought about it, but when you put them side by side I understand what you are saying.

HOwever ive put both injectors directly in each manifold. They were both snug, look how many people have used the ford 42lb green tops. they are the same style as the EV1's and work in the cars.

Im more worried about the quality of the injector than I am the style

they fit fine in my LS6 intake and the connector clipped right in.And the company that was a distributor with Venom on ebay, all u had to do was tell them what #/hr you wanted and if you wanted hi or low Z.And YES you can run a low Z injector you just either have to use an aftermarket controller or you get a converter....matter a fact ive got the price sheets for everything on Venoms website and that includes the injectors which has all sorts of #/hrs and high or low Z.I dunno why ur trying to argue, its been proven they fit and you can run low Z injectors as well, besides you cant even find them on their anymore can you?i havent seen any....

edit i found a few sets but they sure are expensive!

just to be certain there is no confusion, you cannot run low Z injectors without either the driver or an after market fuel computer.

if you use low z and just plug them in it will work, however it will short out your computer after a while, do not use them without the driver or after market comp
