Fuel Pump and Injectors.
Ok guys I've searched an read through several of my books to know avail. I just purchased a Phamspeed turbo kit, so I am going to need larger injectors and fuel pump. My end result is ~600 FWHP, so I plan for that. That will be achieved after I have forged internals. Right now I'm shooting for 500FWHP. OK so I ran the math and for 600 FWHP I'm going to need 57 lbs-hr injectors and a 58.53 gal-hr fuel pump (~222 litres-hr). But for my current goal of ~500FWHP I only need 47 lbs-hr injectors and a 48.78 gal-hr pump. Would it be safe for me to run Venom 60 lbs-hr injectors and a Walbro 255 intake pump? Even though I will only be making ~500 FWHP to start, meaning the tuner will have to "lean" out on the injectors, not the mix, but just not work the injectors as hard. I have read that this can cause serious driveability issues at low RPMs. Or would it be easier to get the Walbro 255 and ~47 lbs-hr injectors and stick with 500 FWHP. Will the Walbro 255 be to powerful and jack up my psi? I calculated all this on 4 bar (58.02 psi). Does anyone have a link on how to install the intake pump or the inline pump for that matter? I'm keeping stock rails, regualtor, and this will still be a returnless system. Thanks for any and all help.
