Please help me with my fuel setup
Please help me with my fuel setup 1)I have a 98 f-body ls1/4l60 thats going into a custom truck. The previous owner had street and performance install a vette return style fuel rail on it. It has two lines running down from the motor.
Does this have a built in fuel regulator or do I need to add one?
2)Also I want to use an intank fuel pump/sender assembly. I currently have one from a 99 f-body but from what ive been reading I dont think it will work due to the f-bodies all being returnless fuel systems.
3)So do I need to find a fuel pump/sender assy from a 97-98 vette with the return style fuel setup and use that? Are there any other vehicles I can get one from...the vette has that weird 2 tank deal that just looks like a headache for a swap.
4)One last thing, I will be using 98 vette instrument cluster with a 98 f-body pcm...does anyone see any problems getting the fuel level gauge to work?
