starting from scratch...what fuel system.

starting from scratch...what fuel system. ok, i couldnt find what i wanted in the search, so...
car is a 94 roller getting a 99 ls1/t56 combo.
want a fuel system that will cover from 300- 600 rwhp. dont want to destroy gas mileage (know it will decrease, just dont want a 4 mpg monster). also, dont want a fuel cell in the hatch. want to keep the tank in the stock location.
1.) car wont have stock tank, so i need a new one. aluminum? i know speed used to sell one, but i dont see it anymore.
2.) fuel lines. what size's do i need from the pump? what about to the fuel lines?
3.) intank or inline? i've heard all you really need is a good intank.
4.) fuel rails? aftermarket worth it?
5.) f/p regulator
6.) injector size? high or low imp?
