bulkhead fitting in platic tank

did a search...but its still debated...

i would like to install a bulkhead fitting in my plastic tank for an external pump...i would like to use a fuel cell bulkhead fitting, teflon washers, and a nut.

ive seen the sumped tank speed inc had on a customer car..do you think i could apply some silicoln sealant to the area around the tank?

any input would be appreciated...thanks guys.

It is not a good Idea to use this route I have seen too many issues and leaking with it.
