Weight savings is the most important. If its a race car, I wouldn't want to run 8-10 gallons in the car if I only need about 3 gallons max. Plus, I hate seeing fuel cells and stuff inside a car, prefer to keep the interior clean and nearly stock looking except for the cage etc..

We could most certianly cut the size down for a custom application. Race car and you are worried about it looking stock...

Nevermind that you need clearance if you run wheelie bars and the existing tanks get in the way

Nate, i would be interested in a race tank with about a 6gallon capacity. i'm like Tony, i would rather have the tank instead of a fuel cell inside the car. i have your fuel rails and valve covers already and am very pleased with the quality and look of the parts.

Drake they are sold out at the moment but we will be making more this week. Give me a call to ensure you get one this time. They are selling quick.

You guys interested in the same style to mount in the factory location but with just a smaller section inside? Or would you want a small tank and figure out your own mounting?

if you did the same style but with just the smaller internal section what that would look just the same as the other one but hold less fuel? i'm confused about it. basically i just don't want to have a fuel cell in the car, i would rather have a sumped tank that mounts in the stock location kinda.

We could do it either way make a smaller tank all together and find a way to mount it. Would make more space and save some weight. Or just make it the same shape just cut the interior down some to hold less fuel. You tell me what you may be looking for. We fab them so custom should not be much of a problem. Filled the same as stock.

Do these tanks have any mounting tabs for the pumps, or is that needing to be added on??

Nate, give me an idea of what each scenario would cost. the idea of a stock size one with the smaller internal area sounds best so it mounts easily. thanks

Guys let me tell you.. These race tanks are absolutely awesome! I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I could not believe the quality look. I bought a complete fuel system from Nate and have been working on putting everything together (when I have time.) I can't wait to get it in the car, even though I don't have my engine yet. Everything I got from Nate was top notch (rails, tank, quality fittings, etc.)

Thanks again Nate!
