Need advise on nitrous setup
Need advise on nitrous setup I'm putting together a stand-alone nitrous setup for my Z, and I am thinking about using a GMPP or Victor Jr. 4-bbl intake, with a plate system. I intend to run a 4-bbl throttle body, and a speed density tune, and it will be on a cammed stock bottom-end 346 for the first season, at least while I get some of the bugs worked out. I really like the idea of running a stand alone fuel system for the N2O, running either unleaded racing gasoline or methanol. But, I'm wondering what I should do about the injectors and fuel pump already on the car. I imagine I should upgrade, and will at some time I'm sure (like when I put the turbo on), but since I will not be relying on the car's current fuel system to provide any of the supplemental fuel when the nitrous is ingaged, I was wondering just how big I need to go. As I said, I plan to run this on a cammed 346 for the first year, I'm just slowly progressing into the max-effort street/strip system I have in mind. What do the nitrous gurus think about my plan?
