Default Aeromotive Pump Speed Control

I am installing the Aeromotive Pump Speed Control and I have it all set except for one connection. It asks for the connection that goes to the existing fuel pump to signal the pump to shut off after 6 seconds if the car has not been started. Can you get it off the existing wire connection or do you have to pull it off the wire that is connected directly to the old pump. I did some testing of the plug but there are two wires that stay hot all the time so I think I have to get the connection after the relay??

Thanks for the help,

Kane

Does anyone have any ideas? I guess I will start testing from the old pump wire see if that works.

Should be a gray wire or a purple wire in the rear distribution block. Look for it when the car is keyed on and not started. You'll need 2 people to check this. One to work the key, one to probe the wire.
