Not offended at all. It can be very difficult to read "tone of voice". Lol!

I just didn't want you to think I was jumping to conclusions, or disregarding advice without considering it. I am a master technician, so I understand everything pretty well, and know what kinds of things to look for when a problem arises. I have also searched the forum a lot. This one has kind of stumped me. I haven't had a whole lot of time to chase the problem, but I have eliminated a lot of possibilities. I thought it would help to talk with people who are not only familiar with this car, but who may also have experienced the same problem. I will probably figure it out sooner or later, but I don't get to work on it that much with my job, so any help is definately appreciated.

Before I changed intakes, I did a top end clean.
I have changed to a colder plug. Ngk tr6
Removed egr and air
Checked for vacuum leaks
changed fuel filter
cleaned injectors
checked fuel pressure (only at idle though)
160* stat with new fan settings.
flushed cooling system, and used less antifreeze and more water to improve cooling.
Made sure vcm was commanding pe under wot
replaced pcv
changed pe table from 1.250 to 1.350 4000rpm up. I saw some .815 02's before I changed the pe table, so I figured thats where the detonation was coming from. Seems most people are leaning their engines and adding ignition advance to increase power, and I am having to do the opposite, which leads me to believe there is a problem somewhere.
