700+ RWHP which external pump
700+ RWHP which external pump What pumps are good for 700+ rwhp when using an external pump? I am using Nate's race tank with the Weldon 600A pump, but it isn't quite enough. What pump is everyone else running that is reliable? I'm not really worried about the noise, I just want to find out something else I can use with peace of mind that it will last.
I am considering running a Y and plumbing two of these pumps together, but there is not much room under there as it is. Plus it would take some major $$$ on top of what I have already spent to do it that way, after I buy the pump and all the fittings.

Call Jim Craig at Weldon. I would use their 2015, but he'll rec that you go one size bigger. The 600A isn't close for your goals. Ask him about the 600A....small pump.He's a great guy to talk to.

Use 2 600A pumps inline. The 2015 will not hold up to street driving you will burn it out. I still think some thing is goofy there is no way that pump is running out already. We have several cars running nearly 900 HP on that pump.

Look the the flow curve on that pump on the Weldon site. If you're boost referencing the pump runs out of steam at elevated pressures. Jim Craig at Weldon talked me out of that pump for that reason. I'm running 58psi base pressure with a 1:1 boost reference. .....so I need 500lbs/hr at 76psi or roughly 83 gallons per hour at 76psi....look at the flow curve...It might support 900hp but not at 76psi.
