help setting up fuel system
help setting up fuel system alright so im getting ready to set up my car with D1SC procharger and im a little confused on what all i need to get this done in terms of fuel delivery. I know i need a new pump, and some injectors...but is that really it ? is there anything else i need to look at or take into consideration ? sorry for being such a noob at this, i tried the search feature, but im just getting even more lost. From what i gathered most go with a 255 intank pump and SVO 42 injectors? but is there any ANY thing else i need to know or plan for
I recommend the Holley (Walbro) PN# 12-914 "FORCED iNDUCTION" fuel pump. The fuel bucket assembly requires a little modifying to make it fit, pretty easy to do.
This is all you need for the fuel system other than the larger injectors. I recommend the SVO 42lb fuel injectors. Do not install the injectors until you get to wherever you are getting the car tuned at. You can go ahead and install the ATI ProCharger, belt and all, and drive the car part throttle to where you are getting the car tuned at. Do not go wide open throttle! Once at the place where you are getting it tuned, you can swap out the injectors. We have had customer's drive their cars from several states away to get their cars tuned in this manner, it does not cause any problems. Hopefully this helps. Bob

Another option would be to go with the Racetronix fuel pump kit. It's a plug and play system and won't require you to mod the fuel pump bucket as it's a direct replacement.
