Default 30 lb injectors worth it ???

I have the stock injectors in my 02 TA. Would it be a good
idea to go to 30's. A freind is going to sell me some cheap?

with that setup, go AT LEAST 30s, you'll probably see a increase in power, as i can bet you good money you're running out of fuel.

I ran my stockers and they were just fine. Had PLENTY of fuel. If you can get them cheap I would. Remember duty cycle is just a calculation.

it's a calculation that is very meaningful. even if you can run a lot more power on stock injectors, why would you want to? why not put in a larger injector, let it run smaller pulsewidth (colder), it will always be predictable, and even beyond that, why would you want to risk running out of fuel at WOT/6000+rpm? that's instant death, and injectors are cheap insurance. i will never understand why you'd drop 5k in your heads/motor but would be a total scroodge over 200 dollar insurance.

With your setup, 30's will definitely be better and if they are a cheap... go for it because you need them.

Because with stock injectors according to "calculations" most people are fine. I have seen 02's with bolt on's in the 90% duty cycle and then other H/C cars with the same 28.8lb injectors run 80%, so how is that "consistent". Also, we are talking about a timeframe of less then 15sec. If it goes over 90% for a short period of time and the car still shows the correct afr, why bother. Not worth it.

He already has a strong car, its not a necessaity. He doesn't NEED them, but why not get them if they are cheap. I have 30's and only because I got them cheap.
