Default Flow matched injectors

Are they really a big deal? I mean is it worth the extra $$$ to get them?
Im referring to the siemens/mototron 60lb/hr injectors from Racetronix. They just emailed saying the non matched set are withing a factory tolerance of +/- 5%, and the flow matched set is matched to withing +/- 1%.
We are figuring the fuel system for 800 flywheel HP out of a FI motor.

Larger & Flow matched injectors are a good thing on a FI motor.

In your case yes the flowed injectors would be worth the money. You can take the highest flowing and place in cylinder #7 to slove the lean problem.

Yes thats the idea I had too.
But alas the matched set I got from Frod Racing only had a card with the flow numbers for each on it. The injectors weren't numbered and neither was the card. So there was no way of knowing which flow related to which injector.
Hopefully other manufacturers do it differently.

Might be worth checking this out with the supplier before purchase.

Thanks guys, I guess I will fork over the extra dough for the matched set...
If racetronix sends them numbered or somehow matched to the flow card, Ill try the highest flowing in #7. And of course let you all know if they come that way.

Within 1% there will be no discernable difference so strategic placement is not required. If you want offset injectors for leaner cylinders like #7 we can provide those as well based on %.

Well you guys got my order a few days ago, and I just paid the upgrade for the flow matched set this morning... If I end up needing offset injectors, I'll get ahold of you guys to work something out then.
Thanks Again
