Default Fuel Pressure Regulator...Tune???

I am installing a Procharger kit this weekend and relaized I might need a fuel pressure regulator for proper tuning. Is it necessary to have one or can they tune it without one???

You could go with the stock in-tank regulator. But its not going to adjust for boost. So you will have to tweak the tables to add in more fuel during boost. If you go with boost/vacuum reference regulator you can flat line the injector flow rates tables in the pcm, the regulator will adjust flow to compensate. I ran with a non adjustable on my turbo setup while I had it, justs means you get to tweak more and its not quite as easy. So yes do yourself a favor and get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator with boost/vacuum reference, mount it under the hood and have less hassles. A lot of people use the stock fuel feed line as a return and run a new line up to the regulator. Have fun, sound like your just starting out, don't cut corners are you will regret it later.
