Ya the stock pump can work with 30# injectors but there is no need to change injectors if you are not running out of pump.

With a cam and the stock injectors, they would probably be close to over 100% duty cycle seeing as how my bolt-on-only car hits 85% duty cycle with the stock 28.8 lb-ers.

How big injectors can the stock pump support? #40? #50?

I'd like to know that too...maybe Racetronix or someone like that knows? I just got a fuel pressure gauge, so I'll keep an eye on that...

How much injector you need is determined by HP. Then you can decide how much pump you'll need to hold the pressure. There is a website with a nice worksheet for figuring inj size. Search for RC Engineering. When it comes to the pump I've never seen a formula, but most people upgrade if they need 42s or more. Once you go past 60s, you'll need 2 pumps (& a regulator is a good idea).

I ran 30s on my cam motor (which actually work out to ~36lbers on our cars, since most injectors are rated at 3 bar & our cars run at 4 bar pressure - the stock 02 inj are really 28.8lbers) and the stock pump was fine. It was fine with 60lbers too until I went WOT with my new setup. Then even with an ATI in-line pump & a regulator the pressure dropped, so I'm installing a Racetronix kit now.

Hope that helps some.....
