How much injector you need is determined by HP. Then you can decide how much pump you'll need to hold the pressure. There is a website with a nice worksheet for figuring inj size. Search for RC Engineering. When it comes to the pump I've never seen a formula, but most people upgrade if they need 42s or more. Once you go past 60s, you'll need 2 pumps (& a regulator is a good idea).
I ran 30s on my cam motor (which actually work out to ~36lbers on our cars, since most injectors are rated at 3 bar & our cars run at 4 bar pressure - the stock 02 inj are really 28.8lbers) and the stock pump was fine. It was fine with 60lbers too until I went WOT with my new setup. Then even with an ATI in-line pump & a regulator the pressure dropped, so I'm installing a Racetronix kit now.
Hope that helps some.....
