Edelbrock Carburetor Conversion?

Edelbrock Carburetor Conversion? Hey yall,
So yeah, I have my '99 LS-1 engine that I'm dropping in the 73 Triumph GT-6. Engine came to me thru dad for a birthday present, however it is missing alla the feulie goodies, basically a short block. Was wondering if anyone has heard how well the edelbrock carb conversions work. I would probably want to run the victor Jr. manifold, I'm looking for a 2000-7000 rpm powerband as I am going with a close ratio 6 speed.
