Racetronix install...Price?
Racetronix install...Price? I have decided that I don't want to tackle this job, for more than 1 reason. I have a buddy that is a GM mechanic that is going to do it for me. We didn't talk $, but I just want to make sure that I pay him the "right" amount. What does a job like this normally cost at a shop?

He should know the going dealer rate of what the fuel pump replacement is (not cheap).

No idea about cost, but be sure that he knows it's not like a normal fuel pump install. I am sure your friend is quite knowledgable but I just hate those who go into the job (esp dealership mechanics) thinking that they know exactly what to do. Good luck with it.
