Which fuel pump??

Hey Hey everyone, imcurous what do you mean trap door set-up. I ama bout to build my motor and going to be pushing about 500rwhp. I was told to replace the fuel pump. i was going to drop the tank and put a new one in? Does the racve tronix just bolt in? Same with connectors? I also have sv0 30lb injectors will those be big enough or is the duty cycle to small the cam is .600 and 605 with 234-240 durration
Yup, it's plug and play and won't require you to modify the factory fuel pump bucket.

I believe you have it turned around a bit. The rubber hose that comes with the Walbro pumps is the inexpensive one that will break down over time.

MUST READ- GM HIGH TECH Magazine issue- April 2006. They just did a great tech article on a Racetronix Fuel pump install for 99-02 LS1 install complete w/wiring harness. After I read it, went and purchased kit w/ 32LB Injectors :thumps up:
They have a kit for 98's too. It's very similar, just designed for the metal tank! I just bought the kit from a board member still sealed in the baggie for $200 shipped. Anyone know where to find more info on the "trap door" method, like measurements or anything? I haven't installed mine yet, and would probably like to go this route. In the GM HTP article, it looks like a major PITA, they say it takes 3 guys to drop the tank, or some BS!
