I think you are looking for:

Fuel Injector Connector p/n 12085491

That is the entire connector. I do not see a listing for just the clip. You might check with one of the forum sponsors. Bet they have something lying around.

I lost one of mine also..went to gm and it is not listed in their computer. you must buy the actual plug for the injector. it comes with it. its like 30 some bucks too. Luckily when i went to pick the plug up, another guy was in the shop and found one upstairs and just gave to me

Gm does not distribute hte clips separately i found this out the hard way. must buy whole connector which can range form $5-25 depending on parts department

Sorry no, I dont know the part number.

I guess the better solution is to use some aftermarket fuel rilas :-)

btw, what are the real chances of the injector coming out or loose on the stock rail, if the clip is missing? I mean the rails are bolted right down, tightly anyway....

the connector has a high potential to separate from the injector, it does not hold on any other way. There is way to much vibration and engine torque under pressure to risk putting a hole through a pistion and burning up your cylinder. Think about it!

Just get the connector, unless you can find a junkyard that has an LS1 w/ the wiring in it still near you, but good luck with that.

That metal clip is the only thing locking down your connector, if its gone have you seen how little effort at all can cause it to come off?

Does this all hold true for the aftermarket fuel rails too?
