Injector O-Ring Lube?

Installing new injectors and thought I read somewhere to use clean engine oil on the o-rings to aid in installation. Is this true or is there something else recomended? Thanks

Clean engine oil or ATF or vaseline (like orange said) or trans gel.

i usually use ATF or mystery oil.

Petroleum jelly has worked for me in the past as well as clean motor oil.

I've used vaseline, engine oil, and WD-40... all of em worked about equally. WD-40 was the easiest to use

Does wd-40 actually stand for something, lol. Maybe I should ask in the tool forum.

I saw a discovery special on lubricants where they said it was their 40th try, however I have also heard that it was named such because it displaced 40 time its own weight in water.

water displacement 40... it displaces 40times its something in water...

i forgot what the ratio is about, but it was 40 something in water.... i remember learning that in high school...
