Default Racing Gas

is it safe to run 100-104 octane gas in an otherwise stock LS1? like dump 5 gallons in to run it at the dragstrip for a night?

Why?? It wont add any power. If you are stock then just stick with 93 octane. 100 would be a waste of money. **** a lot run 93 with poweradders.

As stated above, if running naturally aspirated, there is no reason to, probably no benefit to it. But if you do, make sure it does not have any lead in it. Lead can mess up the O2 sensor among other things.
