100 Octane Gas

Personaly, I would run it, have a very agressive timing tune put in the car, and see if you get any extra ponnies from it. Otherwise if you do not get the extra timing tuned in the PCM you are just waisting your money buying the fuel. The higher octane rating fuel will NOT make the engine produce more power. Octane is the stability of the fuel, in other words, it ability to resist detinating, not the amount of energy it will produce. So if your engine is set up and tuned for 89 octane fuel, symply putting 110 octane fuel in it will NOT make it make more power. Now if you take that same engine and tune the engine to take advantage of the higher octane fuel(more timing added for instance) then you will see more power produced from that engine. But if you leave the tune for the 110 octane fuel in the PCM and go buy 89 octane fuel, AND stand all over the throttle, you will wined up building a new engine after you picked the old one up off of the road.
Long story short, you only need enough octane in your fuel to always keep it from detinating, and still be able to get that good of fuel were ever you go. Also keep in mind (I know this because I am in the oil and gas production buisness) the higher the elevation, the lower the octane rating at the pump, premium gas will be. And the lower the elevation, the higher the octane rating will be for the same premium gas, At the pump. This is because elevation does have an efect on the octane requirments of an engine. Densor air at low altitude compared to higher altitude.
