Default 98 race fuel

i really didnt know where to post this...but i just learned of a gas station in my area that has 98 octane "race fuel"...would this stuff be bad news or good news for my TA daily driver....i was thinking i could run my tank down to about an 1/8th before i go to the track then get a 1/4 tank of this stuff and be good for a day at the track

So long as your tune can compensate nothing bad will happen. Fuel economy should improve.

43,000 miles here on a daily driven LS1 with all 98 octane.
+
20,000 miles here on a daily driven LS2 with all 98 octane.

Most of the guys here tune for and use 98 full time.

Seems like it would be to your advantage if you could have (2) tunes like many of the people who own tuning software. You can tune your engine for 93 but you may see little benefit when switching to 98.
