Default fuel pressure gage question/problem

dont laugh...alright, i bought a schrader pressure gage at napa. hook it up to my 98 z. i cant get it to seal where the gage connects to the hose. first i tried rtv, then liquid thread sealant. it will hold for about a sec, then bleeds off. i got it as tigh tas it can go. am i suppose to put an o-ring in between? it didnt come with one, but it didnt come with the sealant either. please help!

Might be easier to just take the schrader valve off and check it that way. I however dont know how to fix your current problem.

fixed it, just needed some pipe thread tape, dont trust the liquid stuff, it didnt work!
