Default larger injectors/pump and mileage

in a professionally tuned setup, what effect on mileage would there be in having a beefier fuel system than is absolutley necessary?

like say i was to upgrade my car to a H/C setup that was making around 450rwhp, which I've read is the borderline for the stock fuel system. if i was to upgrade the fuel system just to be on the safe side, would the computer be able to properly throttle the fuel flow during non WOT driving, or would it be running rich all the time because the minimum flow rate is higher than necessary? is there even a such concept as minumum flow rate?

With a good tune the computer will adjust how much fuel you need with rpm, and incoming air + timing.
