help with fuel problem I THINK Ok here is my deal. I ran my car auto. with my mods no nos just ran all motor. When I stall the car and run after the car shifts 2nd to 3rd The car acts like its running out of fuel it falls on its face then it picks back up and starts hauling ***. If im on the street and just start out in first and hammer it doesnt have a problem it just shifts hard and keep hauling butt from 2nd to 3rd it only does this when I race the car and stall it up. I just put a new fuel filter and new walbro 255 pump and thought that would solve my problem it help some but im loosing alot of speed on my top end. Any suggestions thanks
Have you done any data logging to see what is going on? Like maybe your fuel pressure is dropping off? What is your injector duty cycle? I have a fuel pressure gauge(Which I cant watch while driving) and when I was running my car my injector duty cycle was like 52% then I would nail it and by 5900 rpm I would go to 110%. Due to not having enuff fuel. Kinda sounds like you need to do some logging when you put your car in that situation.
