Question how to clean injectors

ok this is my first time in the fueling section. i did search some but didnt find anything except sending them all out for servicing. is there a way to clean injectors good without haveing a mechanic with the machine do it or just useing a pour in tank crap.. i wanna clean em up in my trans am especially the #7 sense i hear that one likes to clog up along with the fuel rails. i also wanna do it to my oldsmobile daily which i suspect needs it badly. so what can i do as a start before i actually have to have them done professionally im also kinda new to fuel injection i used to ripping apart the carb and squirting carb cleaner thru the jets till they were clean and flowed

ok wait a min... how many miles are on the cars you want to do this on? and why do you think you need to do it?

fuel is somewhat made so that it keeps the injectors clean.. if you take of your intake off of your trans am you will notice that where the injector sprays its clean as hell.

Grab you some Sea Foam from advance auto parts and be done with it. it keeps everything clean and clear and you just put it into your gas tank.

well my trans am is probably fine has 63k miles but i figured maybe i should clean em just as a preventative maintence.

my oldsmobile runs rough at 98k miles seems like some misfire in it and it shakes also doesnt seem like it has the power it should have when i stomp on it. the car was a free thing i got from a friend who doesnt maintain cars well besides dropping it off for fluid changes, i think cleaning the injectors will help it tremendously. and its just part of my process of tuneing it up and gettin it dailyable so the t/a can go under a cover. im just wondering is it possible to squirt some carb cleaner thru them or somehtin like that. ive never worked on injectors so thats why i ask what i can do.

ive already run seafoam thru the brake booster 2 times about a month apart and the cylinders seem like they cleaned out well. the second time smoked 1/2 as much as the first and that did help it run smoother and idle smoother. i also gave it an oil change and ran seafoam in the oil for 10 mins that boosted my oil pressure up quite a bit from what it was and again helped with the idle slightly. i do still need to do a plug/wire change and my fuel filter, but i still believe the injectors probably have never been cleaned and might need it.

just supporting you doing it...i did mine at the dealership while having some warranty work done and she has 78k miles on her. I did it cause we just bought it used from the first owner whom never had done it and I tell ya, I noticed a difference in it. Might of also been cause i had a new cat installed
