Default Impedance? High Low? Explain

Could someone please explain to me the biggest difference between low and high impedence injectors? What this means, and what I should look for when buying a new injector? thanks

High impedance injectors use a limited amount of current that remains the same while they are opening. Low impedance injectors use a higher current to snap the injectors open, then a limited current to hold them open until they need to close. Generally high impedance injectors are limited in size more than low impedance because of the limited fuel needed at idle. Most factory ecu's can only drive high impedance injectors, making a special converter box necessary if you need low impedance injectors.
