Default Race fuel in a stock ls1?

Is it safe to run race fuel in a stock ls1? Any gains? Problems? I came across a gas city today and seen a sign for racing fuel and figured id ask.

No gains. Stick to pump gas unless you have some heavy mods.

As long as it's unleaded, it should be ok. Try a 50/50 mix of race gas and pump premium. Bear in mind that unless you've changed your tune to support more octane, the computer will probably only increase the timing so much (how much I don't know).

The best power is found running the lowest octane possible without experiencing pre-ignition (pinging) Leaded fuel will also make your O2s take a ****, and FAST.
