Default Twin Intake pump guys check in

Like the title says I have a drop in fuel preasure under boost. I have a GMR fuel system the system has 2 340 gph Walbro pumps in take. No hot wire kit. Under boost the fuel presure drops to 50 amd stays there. Should I be concearnd? I wouldn't think I should have any fuel presure drop with the amount of pump I have.

do you have a regulator?

is your fuel economy any worse with twin pumps now? I may be switching to that in the future.

hey man, Im a buddy of shanes, but anyway he is running a aeromotive reg. with a boost referance. I really dont think he lost any milage. He said he got like 20 plus mpg coming hime from GMR. brian

tha's cool.. i'm lucky if i get 18.. I know my tune is off though on part throttle.

yeah I raced all night last night and still have over 200 miles on the tank. Thinking about putting electric cutout on this week and redynoing it next weekend I think my power is up because we had exhaust leaks we didn't know about at the time of tune. after I had them fixed the boost comes on faster and have more psi.Been having to turn fuel preasure up to get the spark plug the way it needs too look so it is holding 18 psi now.

It should not drop, you have more than enough pump. FP should rise with manifold pressure.

Not sure, but we've ran dual walbros to nearly 1000rwhp through a T400 and stock feed line/filter with no issues at all. (also at 850+rwhp with 60lb injectors with 70psi base pressure).

I cranked the base preasure too 72 and the plugs show it's fine threw the run. Just dips to 50 on the big end.

did u try lowering the base FP to 43.5psi?

Stock feed line and fuel filter, new rails, regulator up front and dual walbros on many 850+rwhp customer cars.

I use dual walbros on my own car but no stock lines due to dual fuel systems.

i'm running into this same problem now. what boost referenced FPR does every1 recommend and what rails should i use on an LT1 car w/ 72# injectors? should my stock lines really do the job or should they be replaced?
