Default L36/LS1 fuel pump question

I have a '02 V6 fuel pump assembly, and it looks identical to my '02 LS1 fuel pump unit. Are they the same, or are the pumps the only difference? Reason is because I don't need it and want to sell it, but I'm not sure if there's a difference (i.e., in the ad: "works with LS1" or "works with V6 only").

Thanks.

Im not 100 percent on this answer but I've been told that the answer is no. They may look the same but the ls1 pump produces a higher flow rate and more psi. If it fits the v6 i dont see a problem with a more powerful pump. Basically Ls1 pumps are probably ok for v6's but v6 pumps arent ok for Ls1's...Josh.
