Default Return style fuel system questions

ok im doing an ls1 into a 94 z28. most say to run stock lt1 lines with a 97 corvette fuel filter as it has a regulator built in. then use stock 97 corvette fuel rails. im going to be going heads and cam and nitrous. so this wont be optimal for me.

im thinking about running aftermarket fuel rails in a return style setup, using an aftermarket FPR , a good filter, and a good intake fuel pump. will the stock 94 lt1 lines be enough? is this the easiest and most cost effective way to do my fuel system? i dont want to go cheap but i also have an extremely tight budget. please give me some help so i can get a parts list made up.

How much power are you planning with the new motor? Stock you could use the 97-98 Corvette fuel rails and all else would be OK. With a good Walbro intank pump it would handle about 550-600rwhp.

well im planning on making around 430-450rwhp off the bottle. the engine will be built with compstar rods and mahle pistons so maybe after that ill throw a 100-150 shot on it. i was wanting to setup a fuel system that will need little (maybe just an injector swap) to handle around 550-600rwhp.

i was very heavily leaning towards that kit when i was getting parts for a turbo setup. at this point i just cant afford it and is why the nitrous setup probably wont be until later on. i was really hoping i could use a more budget minded setup for right now...
