i'd say in the 450 rw + range a bigger pump may need to be considered.i personally made 513 rw on the stocker but i knew that was definitely pushing it.

You might consider upgrading it. Your on the line, we recently had a '98 in with just bolt ons and a 100 shot and the FP droped down to 30 ish PSI. Fuel pumps are less then new motors.

It would be a good idea for sure. But FWIW I had a 225 cam AND dry shot on my previous A4 car. I ran the 125 shot jets and I just swapped out to 37lb injectors, but stock pump. Everything was fine.

With my current car I have made 457rwhp with the stock injectors and pump with the same NOS 5177 kit. A/F was in the 11s on the juice.

We use the Racetronix kits so the full functionally of the factory fuel system is retained. A Walbro pump will work, but you'll have to hack your pump bucket up and loose the venturi system. You might want to try a search of the pro and cons of both pumps as there is a good amount of info on this board. Inline pump is just a band aid, and could cause fuel pump cavitation in your intake pump. Labor will vary, we charge $175.00 for the Racetronix kit install. Here is a link to some Racetronix kits:
