Gas problem? Not sure?

Gas problem? Not sure? Ok i don't know what this problem really relates to so I will start here and move on. I have recently put on headers and new clutch. So just recently. Two weeks after the header install the car now seems to have problems accelerating. Some times when i put my foot on the gas it has what seems to be a half assed attempt at accelerating and then for no reason it feels like it caught somthing or somthing kicked in and my acceleration speed goes way up. While at other times i put my foot on the gas and nothing happens the car just shudders the rpms don't go up and the speed doesn't go up and then all the sudden somthing happens the car lurches with a fury and speeds up. I'm at a complete loss and can't afford to pay 100 or whatever dollars for a diagnostic. if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

You are possibly getting a lean condition, knock retard or both at the same time do to the headers. Without diagnosing such a problem with a scanner, which many F-body drivers carry in your area, we can only guess. Find a one of those guys, oops, I mean persons.
