hesitation : Injectors?

hesitation : Injectors? It seems to rev excessively high when cranking up and even if the rev is close to normal, the exhaust just sounds a little different for some reason. Lightly accelerating, I notice an occasional hesitation or slight intermittent reduction in power. The most often symptom, slight hesitation, seems to occur when driving on the highway at a constant speed, % throttle and RPM. It also seems to occur more frequently when it is hot, e.g. more often on the drive home from work vs. the drive to work.
The power seems to be normal at WOT. No cutting out, missing, decrease in power, etc... with high rpm/heavy throttle.
Things that have been done as a regular maintenance before problem
-fuel filter has been changed within the last year
-professional (direct into fuel rail) concentrated injector cleaner
Things that have been done since problem and havent helped
-top end cleaner(seafoam)
-new plugs
-techron injector cleaner(w/3/4 tank)
-lucas injector cleaner(w/1/2 tank)
