Default How easy to change fuel filter?

I've done a lot of things myself but surprisingly this one hasn't been performed by me yet. It's gonna be a safety measure as my walbro went kaput and I want to make sure everything's alright in the lines. I know it's probably pretty damn simple but want to make sure there aren't any hidden surprises when replacing it. The things I'm curious about are:

- what are the steps exactly to getting it on and off quickly
- is there a way to prevent a ton of fuel pouring out on me
- are there any parts other than the filter that I'll need to get to change it out

I haven't gotten under it to check it out and I'm sure it's simple, but I'd like to just go down there one time with the proper knowledge and steps to make it as simple as possible with as little leakage as possible (changing it in the driveway).

www.installuniversity.com Gives you step by step instructions. Easy to do. Drain the fuel at the schraner valve. Some will still spill out when you disconnect the fuel filter. Keep a drain pan under the area. Should take 15 min.

Are you sure you were pushing hard enough? The screwdrive may have been too big to depress it as far as it needed to go to release pressure.
