what determines gas mileage factor?

Default what determines gas mileage factor?

what makes a FI car retain, or still attain the "26mpg" mark it is so often designated with>>????

Stay out of the boost and you are not using any more power than the car originally came with. Hence using the same fuel.

no what i meAN is, and i undestand nates response, but... how does it "add to" gas milage... with 750 hp and a monster FI setup???? I cant really grasp it...

Some will add if tuned correctly and driven very easy. You are using the little boost crated as extra power to get the car moving faster then you are not on the gas as hard for the duration of the drive. If you do not have your foot in it as long you will more than likely use less fuel in the long run.
