best way to flush the tank?

best way to flush the tank? ok, i have the tank out. i'm installing a racetronix pump and i'm just wondering what the best way to clean it is. the whole reason i went with the tank drop and not the trap door was to clean the tank out. also...if the filter sock on the bottom of the whole assembly is dirty, should i get a new on from gm?

I riped off the one at the bottom of the bucket, drilled a large hole for the bottom of the walbro to poke out of the bottom of the bucket and then stuck the sock on that.
I wonder is the Racetronix pump is the same as the Walbro? i brought my pump and it came in a Holley box, perhaps many vendors use Walbro and badge it up as their own.
