02 chevy tahoe problems

02 chevy tahoe problems --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i now this isnt the place for this but i thought someone might have an idea. is there a way to check and see if your fuel pump is bad. also is there a way to bypass the security system to see if thats what is keeping it from starting. i am 250 miles from home changed the fuel filter checked all the fuses the car cranks but won't start gave it a little shot of starting fluid and it will run for a second but thats all i can get any ideas. last night it drove fine for four hours to tennessee let it sit for a while and went to leave and nothing happened. there was a short in the system that messed up the security system but it got fixed on wednesday. its not doing the same thing that it did before though.
